As a systemic psychotherapist in training under supervision I am interested in how we meet and influence each other, in which systems we move and where we leave traces, and likewise how these systems leave traces in us. We are not separate units detached from our environment; we are always part of something, of a system.
At the same time we are also a system for ourselves. And just as things can go awry between two systems, it can also happen that we do not run smoothly within ourselves.
I am interested in your experiences and relationships, how you deal with certain situations, the ways you look for solutions, how you communicate and what matters to you in all of this.
I always work in relation to what you bring and what is currently helpful for you. We can work creatively with constellations, writing or images. We can work in a structured way to find stability and orientation on difficult topics. We can work imaginatively or hypnosystemically and develop new perspectives in imagination.
I like to work in a solution-focused way and look mainly at the problem in the here and now: What maintains it? Where might there be an entry point that truly makes a difference and enables change? What should or must change is often not clear from the start. And sometimes, as therapy progresses, it becomes apparent that nothing needs to change at all. Because it makes a difference whether I believe something must change or I recognise that no change is required.
Above all, it is important to me that you feel comfortable and safe working with me and that you feel taken seriously with whatever is on your mind.
I work in an LGBTQIA+ affirmative and culturally sensitive way. For me, both are an important and natural part of the psychotherapeutic space.
