What to do if …

… you have suicidal thoughts

Call Telefonseelsorge on 142 right now. You don't need to explain anything – they are there to listen. If you are in immediate danger, dial 144.

… you experience domestic violence

The women's helpline (0800 222 555) helps 24/7, confidentially and free of charge. Men can reach the men's emergency line on 0800 246 247. In acute danger: 133 (police).

… a child is in danger

Dial 144 or 133. If a child is seeking help themselves or you are a young person who wants to talk: Rat auf Draht on 147 (24/7, free).

… you are in an acute crisis

Telefonseelsorge 142 or the Ö3 Kummernummer 116 123 are good first steps. You can call without a specific reason – every feeling counts.
