Effective from June 2026
These Terms of Service apply to all users of the MatchYourTherapy platform, operated by MMag. DDr. Gregor Studlar BA (MatchYour GmbH i.G.), Domgasse 14, 4020 Linz, Austria.
By using our services, you agree to these Terms. Deviating conditions are not recognized unless we expressly agree to them in writing.
MatchYourTherapy is an online platform for connecting individuals seeking psychotherapeutic support (users) with qualified psychotherapists (therapists).
Important Notice
MatchYourTherapy does not provide therapeutic services itself. The platform functions solely as an intermediary. Therapeutic treatment takes place directly between user and therapist.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Please inform us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to verify the professional qualifications of therapists at any time and to request documentation. Profiles may be deactivated if qualifications are missing or unverified.
Therapists warrant that all professional designations, academic degrees, titles and registrations stated in their profile (in particular "Psychotherapeut:in", "Klinische:r Psycholog:in", "Gesundheitspsycholog:in", "Mag.", "Dr.") are accurate, lawfully held by them and permissibly used in Austria. Persons still in psychotherapeutic training are obliged to clearly indicate this with the addition "in Ausbildung unter Supervision" (in training under supervision) and must not present themselves as already registered psychotherapists. Legally protected professional designations may only be used where the respective statutory requirements and registrations are met. Foreign or, in Austria, uncommon terms (e.g. "approbiert", "Heilpraktiker:in", "Kammer") must not be used in a misleading manner. Responsibility for the accuracy and admissibility of these statements lies solely with the therapist.
The platform may only be used for its intended purpose: searching for or facilitating psychotherapeutic services.
Therapists are solely responsible for all content they post (in particular profile texts, title and qualification statements, images and links). They warrant that such content is truthful and lawful and, in particular, complies with the professional and advertising regulations applicable to them (including PThG 2024, Psychologengesetz 2013, UWG, and the relevant professional code). MatchYourTherapy does not create this content, does not adopt it as its own, and is not obliged to systematically review it for accuracy or lawfulness. Therapists retain the rights to their content but grant MatchYourTherapy a non-exclusive license, valid for the duration of publication, to use it in connection with operating and promoting the platform.
Users who post content (in particular therapists) and who are not acting as consumers shall indemnify MatchYourTherapy against all third-party claims asserted on the basis of content they post or a breach of these Terms for which they are responsible, including competition-law cease-and-desist requests (warning letters) from competitors, administrative proceedings, and reasonable costs of legal defense. This does not apply insofar as they are not responsible for the infringement.
MatchYourTherapy is not obliged to actively monitor posted content, but is entitled to review content or profiles in the event of a concrete breach of these Terms, of professional or advertising law, or upon a corresponding notice, and to modify, hide, remove them or suspend the relevant account without prior notice. We will inform the affected person of such measures, stating the reasons, pursuant to Art. 17 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065. Unlawful content or content violating these Terms can be reported at any time to info@matchyourtherapy.at; we will follow up on such notices and remove unlawful content without undue delay as soon as we become aware of it. Liability of MatchYourTherapy for third-party content exists only upon actual knowledge of the unlawfulness, pursuant to Art. 6 and 8 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act) and the supplementary provisions of the ECG.
Published profiles appear in search results and may be indexed by search engines.
The platform may promote published therapist profiles through paid online channels (e.g. Google Ads, social media) in a factual manner compliant with advertising guidelines. Advertising is conducted exclusively in accordance with the advertising guidelines for psychotherapists (BMSGPK). Such promotion is purely technical and reach-based; it does not involve any selection based on the content of statements or any adoption of individual statements.
Therapists can deactivate the visibility of their profile at any time via the dashboard setting "Publish profile". Unpublished profiles are neither displayed in search results nor advertised.
The platform assumes no liability for professional regulatory consequences arising from the publication or advertising of a profile. Therapists are solely responsible for compliance with their professional obligations (§ 48 PThG 2024).
The platform is currently in its founder phase. Paid subscriptions are temporarily disabled; all therapist accounts are currently provisioned free of charge with the full feature set of the top tier. The payment processing described below will only be activated after separate email notice and explicit consent of the affected users. Sections 6.1–6.6 describe the terms that will apply once activated.
All prices include statutory VAT. Current prices can be found on our pricing page.
Payment processing is handled by our payment service provider Stripe. Stripe's terms of service also apply.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, depending on the selected plan.
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By expressly consenting to the immediate start of the service, the right of withdrawal may expire.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (MMag. DDr. Gregor Studlar BA / MatchYour GmbH i.G., Domgasse 14, 4020 Linz, email: info@matchyourtherapy.at) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email).
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
If you requested that the services should commence during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal expires for a contract for the supply of services if we have fully performed the service and the performance of the service had begun only after you gave your express consent and simultaneously confirmed your knowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed by us.

We assume no liability for the quality, suitability, or execution of therapeutic services provided by matched therapists, nor for the accuracy of the profile, title and qualification information they provide.
